Sara Baysinger
Commercial Customer Service Manager – Fulton
I started working with The Ovid Bell Press in 2000.
My family moved to Fulton when I was a toddler. The OBP, now Walsworth is situated in the middle of town. I spent a lifetime driving past without knowing what happened in that building but knowing that if you worked there, you were lucky. And I was one of the lucky ones who knew someone who could get me an interview and here I am. I’ve enjoyed this entire journey. I still feel fortunate to be here.
I love the sense of satisfaction I have at the end of the day. Whether I’ve helped a customer, another Fulton employee or someone else within the organization, I always feel like I’ve contributed to the good of the company and the people I work with.
I sincerely feel like leadership appreciates all of their staff. They know it takes all of us and we all contribute our own individual value to the organization.
I have two sons and one lovely daughter-in-law. My youngest son has a longtime girlfriend who I love like my own. When I’m not working I am usually working on a project around the house, playing cards or games with friends and family in the winter, or spending time around the pool in the summertime. All of my best vacations have been on my family’s 5+ acres in Callaway County. There is never a dull moment.
