Yearbook Sales Representative – Fort Worth, Texas
I’m currently the territory Walsworth Yearbooks Sales Rep in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to this, I was the Sales Rep Field Trainer based in the Overland Park office. I started my career with Walsworth over 10 years ago as the territory sales rep in Northwest Arkansas.
On a day-to-day basis, I help students and teachers develop the yearbook of their dreams, and shepherd them through the process. I get to use photography skills, writing skills and team-building activities to help with project management.
I started on yearbook staff in 8th grade. When I was in high school, we switched to Walsworth and our rep was Johnna Tupper. She was always fun to work with and really encouraged us to do cool things with the book. Debbie Taylor was our CSR, and in the colophon of my senior book, I wrote about both of them. We toured the plant back then, and my mom came on the field trip as a chaperone. She still talks about it to this day.
I think the coolest thing about my job is that every day is a different challenge and I love working with all the students and teachers.
If I had a personalized coffee mug at work, it would say “Lulu’s Mama”
What I love most about my job is I get to help people and problem-solve, and this career has been life-changing for my family.
A fun fact about me is I have a credit on IMDb as an actress.
Adam and I are parents to baby Lulu, who turned one year old on July 2. She is ruling the household now, much to the chagrin of our three cats, Hank, Bandit and Taco.
When I’m not at work, I love going on walks with Lulu, sewing, quilting and spending time with family outdoors.
Walsworth has given me the opportunity for advancement in a field I’ve been interested in since I was a small child. I’ve enjoyed traveling to meetings and getting to reconnect with other reps.
In my community, we are politically active, helping with getting people registered to vote and encouraging interest in upcoming elections.
Some of my favorite memories with Walsworth are the trips to Brookfield and Marceline with follow-up training classes. It’s fun to see everyone at the plant and have the chance to thank them for what they are doing, and having dinner with all the new reps and their CSRs and other plant personnel is always really fun.
