Valerie Paschke
Production Utility Operator, Ripon, WI
I am a Production Utility Operator at Walsworth. I used to be a Customer Service Representative, but due to health reasons, I transferred back to the Bindery/Finishing Department.
Every day at Walsworth is a new day! The jobs we get to work on have so much variety and diversity. That is what makes my job so special and rewarding. Some jobs are challenging, but most are fun!
I have worked in the printing industry for 16 years. I have worked at Walsworth since Nov. 2017.
I came to Walsworth because I only live 4 minutes from work, so it’s a quick ride home. I already had printing experience, so it was a no-brainer to apply at Walsworth. I love it here!
The coolest thing that I do is get to inspect the final product that the customer will see and appreciate. I have a close eye for detail, so I am good at finding mistakes and bad products. I treat each job like I am the actual customer, so I ensure everything is 100% right!
My personalized coffee mug would say: “IT IS WHAT IT IS!”
I love the people that I work with. Everyone works as a team and we get along like friends while we get the job done (even when the days are long)!
A fun fact about me is I had three weddings (to the same husband)! I married my high school sweetheart in a courthouse, then in Mexico, then we had a reception with 350 people.
I have a purebred Silver Lab and she is gorgeous. Her name is Stella. She won the Favorite Pet award at Walsworth – Ripon.
I love water-skiing and dancing, and I love to cheer on the Green Bay Packers!
Walsworth has contributed to my future by giving me a stable job that is close to home for traveling to work and back. My daughter also received a $16,000 scholarship after recently graduating from high school to attend Ripon College.
My favorite memories at Walsworth are from when I used to work in the trim and folding department because I was very talented on the folders, especially the harder map jobs and double gate folds.
