I currently work at Walsworth – Ripon in the List Processing Department. Previously, I worked in the Finishing Department. I started in 1995 when we were known as Ripon Printers. So, I guess I’ve been here 29 years. Wow! Time flies.

I came to Ripon Printers with no printing experience 29 years ago. My kids were in grade school and I needed a full-time job, so I decided to apply for a first-shift Bindery position and I got the job.

I love coming to work because we all work together to get things done. We look out for each other, we are a team! And it feels great to be part of a team.

My personalized coffee mug would say: “Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice!”

I am married to my best friend, who also works at Walsworth. Together, we have nine grandchildren that we love dearly. We love spending time with them any chance we get, they fill your heart with joy! Two of them live out of state, so we try to visit them once a year. We call and video chat with them often, so that helps with them being so far away. We also own three cats that entertain us quite often.

A fun fact about me is that I love to garden. My husband built me a beautiful greenhouse that I love growing flowers and veggies in.

I also love to travel. I’ve been to 47 of the 50 states, plus Mexico and Canada. I love visiting national and state parks. One of my favorite vacations and places that I’ve been to is Alaska. My daughter and I flew to Alaska, rented a vehicle and drove all over Alaska for 10 days. Lots of great memories and wonderful people there. We saw tons of wildlife and absolutely gorgeous scenery, every turn was a new adventure. We did this not only once, but twice, and we will get back there again.
