I have been the Estimating Manager for nearly 17 years at Walsworth. I review the cost estimates to help determine what the sell price needs to be to win the work. I also work on various project teams and look for ways to make the estimating process more efficient. I have been in the printing industry for 36 years.

I made the decision in High School that I wanted a career in printing. We had a Vo-tech course and I was hooked. For most of my career, I have been in book and catalog printing and Walsworth gave me the chance to get back into what I enjoy the most.

My favorite part of working at Walsworth is getting to work with a lot of great people – I am part of the team that creates and delivers the sell price to our customers. I love that I have been empowered to make the changes needed to make the estimating process more efficient.

I want to come to work every day because I take pride in what I do, and I feel responsible for helping to fill all of our plants with work to ensure our employees have jobs.

A fun fact about me is I have been a member of Lions Club for nearly 30 years helping others who are less fortunate than myself. I also have a twin brother who is also in the printing industry.

Most of my free time away from work is spent at Lions Club functions and the two non-profit boards that I serve on – as the Board President for one and vice president for the other. As a member of the Marceline Lions Club, I help to give back to our community through a high school scholarship, eyeglasses for kids in need and support other local and national services. I also enjoy spending time with my brother and nephew, traveling to Heavy Metal concerts in the Midwest.

Walsworth has contributed to my future by allowing me to continually grow as a manager, giving me the opportunity to work on various teams to help drive solutions for the path forward and investing in new equipment and technologies to stay competitive and keep our position as one of the largest printing companies in the U.S.

My favorite memory of working at Walsworth is all of the great relationships I have with people across all of our facilities.
