Julie O’Donley
Customer Service Representative, Fulton, Missouri
I am a Customer Service Representative at Walsworth – Fulton. I manage our customers’ jobs while they are in the plant. I represent Walsworth to our customers and represent the customers when they are in the plant.
I started in September of 1990 as a CSR when the Ovid Bell Press was the premier employer in Fulton, as Walsworth is now. Back then, you had to have a connection to get a job within the Ovid Bell Press plant. I had a sister-in-law who helped me get the job.
I have been an assistant Production Manager, Quality and Safety Coordinator, Mailroom Supervisor and CSR in my previous Ovid Bell Press life. I worked for 20 years and then took a position with a national book printer in Jefferson City. It was interesting to learn book production after being in magazine printing for so long. I was with Command Web for nine years before the opportunity became available to come to Walsworth.
The coolest thing about my job is the relationships I have created with my customers. I value their business and want them to know how much they are appreciated.
My personalized coffee mug would say: “Will work for chocolate.”
I want to come to work every day because I enjoy my job. The more I do it, the more I learn. There are days when it is more difficult, but such is life.
I have been married to Commercial Sales Representative David O’Donley for 19 years. We have a blended family of five children that has grown over the years, adding sons and daughters-in-law. Our grandson Banks is two and a half years old, our granddaughter Ella Ray will be one in May and our youngest grandson Cove is six weeks old.
We have a cat named Bob Marley who is 18 years old. He was supposed to be our only cat, but David wanted a kitten last year which turned into two kittens, Dale Earnhardt and Freddy Mercury.
Like most people, spending time with my family and grandchildren gives me the most happiness. Travel and time with friends are also priorities.
Walsworth has contributed to my future by providing a career for me that has helped me provide everything my family has needed.
