Administrative Assistant, Brookfield, Missouri

I am the Administrative Assistant at the Brookfield Plant. On a typical workday, I come in and work on the morning reports that go to all the managers and supervisors of the surrounding plants, make sure all the hourly employees’ timecards are correct (everyone wants to get paid, right?), I gather information for the week in case I need to send out plant-wide memos, order supplies when needed and enter production charges.

I love coordinating plant-wide retirement and anniversary parties, where I’ll get supplies and order cakes and punch. I love celebrating big milestones with everyone! As the Administrative Assistant, I get to talk to and see everyone in the plant. I sit close to the coffee so everyone comes by often!

I have worked at Walsworth since December 2022. Before I came to Walsworth, I worked in healthcare. I can talk to you all day about blood cells, but when it comes to printing, it’s like learning another language. I had no idea all the pieces it takes to print one yearbook. It’s truly fascinating.

One thing that makes me happy is every morning when I send out reports, I like to add a daily quote. Everyone seems to look forward to them.

My personalized coffee mug would say: “Good vibes only!”

A fun fact about me is I love true crime.

My family consists of my husband, Rich, and our three daughters; Valli, 8, Blaire, 6 and Rikki Lee, 4.

My hobbies include reading and attending as many concerts as I can. Live music is the way to my heart.

I give back to my community by serving on my local school board.
