Headquartered in Summerville, South Carolina, Azalea Magazine celebrates the character, beauty and pace of the SC Lowcountry. In publication for 15+ years, Azalea is known as the authoritative voice on the Lowcountry’s distinctive style of southern living, offering a novel look at the history, culture, food, art, places and people that make the SC Lowcountry one of the fastest growing regions in the United States. The love Azalea Magazine’s publishers have for the Lowcountry is apparent when you read one of their quarterly, seasonal publications.
“Azalea is the highest quality publication in its class, set apart by its bold style and authentic storytelling,” says Jenna Lachenman, Owner and Editor in Chief of Azalea Magazine. “That’s something we’re very proud of.” Lachenman is dedicated to using her magazine to promote the region’s notable voices and businesses. “I really have a passion for our community and the small businesses in the Lowcountry,” says Lachenman.
Azalea Magazine is free to pick up locally, distributed by over 300 local businesses in the Lowcountry area, and has subscribers across the country. Their print distribution covers tens of thousands of readers in communities across coastal South Carolina as well as select upstate communities.
On the printing side, Azalea Magazine is facilitated by Sales Representative Robin Olsson and Customer Service Representative Ashley Giboney. “I love working with Robin, he’s been a wealth of support and information,” says Lachenman. “It has been a fabulous experience. The staff there is knowledgeable and hands-on.”
Looking towards the future, Azalea is gearing up to release another publication, Azalea Homes, focusing on homes and design.
